It's very sad that in Poland many great records don't get enough recognition as they deserve. This is also applicable to the latest cd from one of our best death/grind bands - Parricide.
'Kingdom Of Downfall' is their next album after 2001's full-length 'Ill-Treat', and it once again smashes with huge brutality, precision and unmatched, twisted yet aggressive musicianship. However, this record is also a bigger step towards the grind core genre, with more pressure layed on dynamics and rythm parts, which is definitely a good thing for the future progress of Parricide's music. Professional playing (especially drums and vocals), good, heavy sound and this wild, uncontrolled fury place them in the highlights of European death/grind elite. As I mentioned before, it's hard to accept that this band, being one of the oldest and best in Poland, doesn't get enough attention.
This cd is essential for everyone interested in brutal, but intelligent death/grind music. It's shameful not to know their name.
