Nové splitko Majestic MAJESTIC DOWNFALL/THE SLOW DEATH

Majestic Downfall is probably the best band right now in Mexico. It has those irrepressible depressive undertones which is coupled with crushing Death Metal heaviness and it's this combination that's sublime and somewhat unparalleled. Majestic Downfall started off as a Doom Metal band but seemingly got influenced by its own Swedish Death Metal-influenced band Zombiefication and the band's music has got heavier than ever before while still retaining that exotic poignancy.

The Slow Death is morose and weird Doom Metal that has again similarly become heavier over a period of time. The standout aspect of this Australian band is female vocals done in a unique eerie way by Murkrat's vocalist Mandy. The music is despondent, drowned in sadness and has a peculiar air that's of mixed bittersweet feelings - like Mournful Congregation's evil sister. It's heart-wrenching.

I'm going to use more personalized descriptions from now on, which will be probably more insightful than the standard kind of descriptions. I hope that's fine. It's only for this purpose and for your better understanding. It should help more where Doom Metal and Grindcore (lesser known genres) are concerned, perhaps. I've got almost two decades of experience and might as well put it to some use and share some extra information if possible.
