BEYOND MORTAL DREAMS - Lamia 7"EP is Out Now
(released in cooperation with Unholy Prophecies)
 Lamia contains two songs, the title tracks brings forth well orchestrated Death Metal assault in BMD's very own style. The second track Demonsword Infernal is a re-recording from band's 2006 demo. A stellar manifesto of Australian brutal Death Metal.
We aimed at picking shorter tracks in order to keep the fidelity of the 7" format high.

 witness the band's live debut after 7 years.

This NY's act will bring some tormenting, raw NYDM to the table. Imagine Diabolic playing like Suffocation on their first two albums possessed by a wild force as if they were coming from Chile or Brazil and you will get something close to what The Gates Of Hell is about. Definitely an original, hard to compare, stab of brutality – not easy to get into (this will never be the goal with Lavadome releases) – which keeps one getting back for more to uncover the depths and detail of this record. The Gates of Doom shall open in May.

I would also like to mention few independent releases which, in my opinion, are special and deserve attention for not being only great, challenging music but for having its own, strong vision to back up and create the character of their music.
INEXORABLE - Morte Sola EP (DIGIPACK)
 I haven't been impressed by an upcoming band this much for a long time. The potential, creativity and passion for everything Death related are heavily radiating from every tone on the record. As much as it is terrifying to dwell deeper and deeper into the realms of death presented on "Morte Sola", it is also mesmerizing to witness a new creative force impending like this – with the will (and skill) to push and break, to destroy and create - the seed sown with "Morte Sola" is sure to grow and it's an honor to be able to watch the advancement since the beginning. Don't miss this out. Certainly, this is not an easy listen but that's actually a plus. Art should push the boundaries so that it doesn't become stale and plain entertainment and this is the way Lavadome will always support. Fans of Gorguts, Portal or Mayhem, watch out!

ATHANATHEOS - Alpha Teistic CD (CD-R)
 I must admit that I have a problem to listen to records which are longer than 40-45 mins. Alpha Teistic clocks at around 56 mins. No wonder it took me a long time just to get to this record and listen for a while but as time went I was coming back for more and more often. Well, 56 minutes of Death Metal requiring full attention is not an easy task, right?! This French unit made it all worth it. Incredibly thrilling debut album. Just imagine The Chasm going for more extreme form of Death Metal in the vein of Immolation with a touch of Borgia (incredible French band dig their album out if you missed it). All in all, AthanaTheos melted a great portion of Death and Black metal influences within their music and hit the listener with something special. There's also a great concept running behind the band. HERETIC - Ascend EP-CD
If you like later Morbid Angel, Mithras this EP/Demo will certainly get something going for you. Few songs but lots of potential there making it all worth it.
