ESTAMPIDA was founded in 1995 in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. With the drummer Gaston, joins the band the current guitarist Juan Cruz Sarlinga in 1998. In 1999 became part of ESTAMPIDA Gerardo Valenzuela on vocals and in 2000 the group enters the current bassist and singer Lucas Valenzuela (Gerardo’s brother) on bass and vocals, providing an important complement to the band with their contributions in different vocal works.

       In 2002 the band decided to move to Europe to record their 1st album. After reunification past three years, he joined the ranks of ESTAMPIDA Franco Sarlinga (Juan Cruz’s brother) on guitar. In mid 2008 ESTAMPIDA releases his first album titled "Sin Rencor". Among the concerts held include its participation in the V- Contest Pop-Rock Bilbovisión which are proclaimed winners, participating in various festivals, including The Rockstudios Christmas Festival and Barakado Rockaldia in which one, ESTAMPIDA shares the stage with the legendary Over The Rainbow before more than a thousand people and with excellent reviews.

       In 2010 born his second album entitled "Brainwashers" in the Rockstudios of Karlos Kreator and start preparing your first video-clip of the album's title track. This leads the group begins its presentation pulls concerts in cities such like Valencia, Castellón and Lérida, Rock Star in Barakaldo and with Leo 037, in Castrorock 2010. In mid-2010 the singer Gerardo Valenzuela left the band, taking care of the lead vocals and choirs the bassist Lucas Valenzuela, sharing the stage with New Yorkers Suffocation and Dying Fetus. The band reviews improve and shares the stage with the Asturian Darksun with Lacrimas Profundere and Theatre Des Vampires in the Temple Of Metal and Metal Xtreme Mas de Miranda de Ebro with bands like Gauntlet, We All Fall and Noctem. Also involved in the compilation Metal North 2 giving a preview of his third album with the track “Insane” and a new version of the song "Brainwashers".

       In 2012 signed with the Genovese Music Nadir for the recording and production of their third album titled “Crowd Control: The Jaws of War”, which consists of 11 tracks and 2 bonus, starting a tour all over Spain, called "Uncontrolled Crowds Tour 12/13" in cities like Madrid, Miranda de Ebro, Murcia, Castellón, Avilés, Bilbao and many more...

       In 2013 ESTAMPIDA announces his new bassist Edana, returning to its origins of 5 members.
