DARKSIDE pracují na novém albu

Dear All,

after almost 5 years of silence, DARKSIDE is proud to announce that works on a new album are in full progress. The band has formed in a totally new line-up consisting of:

The Wolf - vocals
Fuller - guitars
Padre - guitars
Alvarez - bass
Cutthroat - drums

The new album will be entitled "INFERNO" and will be featuring 17 tracks. The album is monothematic and features an adaption of the true strory of Madeleine de la palude, a woman living in the 17 century France in times of the inquisition. Being abused by her fathers friend, a priest, she tries to escape by becoming a nun, but this gets her even more into the fangs of the priest.

The story is also an accusation towards monotheistic religions and their archaic rites and practises, now and then.

Production of the artwork for "Inferno" has been put in the hands of Kewin Miceli, a french artist living in Prague, who has been working for Cradle Of Filth, Pendact, xXXx, Sepultura as well as for rock mags like Spark, Rock n Pop mag, but also for Disney (Pirates of the caribbean video game interface design and matte paintings) and various rock and gothic shops in CZ.

At this point of time all 12 songs for the album are finished in their basics, so now it´s time for arrangements, vocal lines and solos. There will be also 5 instrumental tracks on the album, based on pieces of classical music, to illustrate parts of the story and/or their characters.
